Stop Payroll Errors Before
They Become Grievances
Contract-as-Code transforms collective agreements into executable compliance rules and validates payroll calculations across Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, and other payroll platforms.
Most payroll errors are not caused by payroll software. They are caused by complex collective agreements, configuration mistakes, and rule-interpretation challenges. Contract-as-Code identifies payroll compliance risks before they become costly disputes, grievances, overpayments, or underpayments.

Trusted alongside existing payroll platforms
We work with your existing payroll ecosystem — not against it.
Contract-as-Code sits above your payroll system — it does not replace it.
- Not a payroll system — your team keeps running payroll where they run it today.
- Not a replacement for Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG, or SAP.
- No rip-and-replace, no migration, no disruption to pay runs.

The hidden cost of payroll complexity
Payroll systems calculate what they're configured to calculate. Every collective agreement adds rules — and every rule interacts with the others. Complexity doesn't add up. It compounds.
Rule interactions grow exponentially
agreements → interactionsA handful of agreements can produce thousands of rule-record combinations to validate every pay cycle — far beyond what manual spot-checks can reliably cover.
Estimate your payroll compliance risk
Adjust the inputs to model your exposure, audit complexity, and validation requirements. Illustrative only — your assessment produces the real numbers.
Payroll compliance risk estimator
Illustrative exposure model based on your workforce profile.
Directional model only — not a quote, a guarantee of savings, or legal advice. These figures illustrate the scale of validation work and the relative compliance risk implied by your workforce profile. Your actual exposure depends on your specific agreements and payroll data, and every finding requires professional review.

A transparent, four-step pipeline from agreement text to audit-ready findings — with a human decision at every consequential step.
Collective agreement ingestion
Explainable AI extracts contractual obligations — premiums, overtime stacking, on-call rules, holiday entitlements — directly from your agreement text, with every rule traced back to its source clause.
Rule generation
Each obligation becomes executable business logic your team reviews and approves. Nothing becomes an active rule without a human decision — keeping interpretation transparent and auditable.
Payroll validation
Payroll outputs from Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG, or SAP are tested against every approved rule, for every employee, every pay cycle — surfacing discrepancies your payroll system never flagged.
Compliance reporting
Actionable findings are generated with clause references, affected employees, and a full decision audit trail — ready for your payroll, labour relations, and audit teams.
What a compliance assessment surfaces
Representative categories of discrepancies across sectors. Illustrative examples — not actual customer data, and never a claim of guaranteed savings.
- On-call pay exceptionsStandby hours not converted to the contractual minimum
- Shift differential issuesEvening / night differential missing for rotating crews
- Call-back minimumsGuaranteed call-back hours under-applied on short notice
- Seniority calculation discrepanciesService accrual misaligned with placement on the grid
- Scheduling premium exceptionsSplit-shift and short-notice premiums not triggered
- Step progression timingIncrement dates drifting from the agreement schedule
These are illustrative examples of the categories of discrepancies Contract-as-Code surfaces. They are not based on a specific customer, and we never claim guaranteed savings — every finding requires review by a qualified payroll, HR, or labour relations professional before action.

What it is, what it isn't, and how your data is handled.
Does Contract-as-Code replace my payroll system?
No. Contract-as-Code is an independent compliance layer that validates the output your payroll system already produces — Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, or another platform — against your collective agreements. Your team keeps running payroll exactly where they run it today. There is no migration and no rip-and-replace.
Is employee data sent to AI or to a third party?
No. Employee identifiers are SHA-256 hashed before any processing, and the AI rule-extraction step only ever sees collective agreement clause text — never employee names, identifiers, or pay data. Full details are on our Security page.
Which payroll platforms do you work with?
Any platform that can export a standard CSV — including Dayforce, Workday, ADP, UKG, and SAP. There is no integration project and no API key required; we validate against your existing exports.
Where is our data stored?
In your selected region. Canadian data resides in Google Cloud northamerica-northeast1 (Montreal); US, UK, and Australian data reside in their respective regional infrastructure. The region selector at the top of the site sets your legal context, currency, and data residency.
How does a payroll compliance assessment work?
We scope your workforce and agreements, validate a sample of your payroll against the rules in those agreements, and deliver a prioritised findings report — each finding traced to the specific clause and the affected records. We then walk you through it. Engagements are scoped to your organisation rather than sold by the seat.
Is this legal advice?
No. Contract-as-Code is decision-support tooling for HR, payroll, and labour relations teams. Findings indicate possible discrepancies for your team to review; they are not legal determinations. Every finding requires review by a qualified professional before action.
How accurate are the extracted rules?
Every extracted rule traces back to the exact clause and page it came from, and nothing becomes an active rule without a human review and approval decision. Interpretation stays transparent, reviewable, and under your control — never automatic.
